Week 18 Logan Utah--Les Trois Mousquetaire

 Bonjour à tous!

This week was pretty crazy! On Wednesday we had transfers. I moved down the block to a new apartment with two new elders! I have two companions! Elder Hemenway and Elder Johnson. Elder Hemenway is from Spokane Washington and has been on his mission for 7 months. He was originally called to served in the Recife Brazil mission. Elder Johnson is from Austin Texas. He has been out for about 3 months. It has been a blast to live and work with them!

We now cover 3 stakes, 23 wards total. We work with the YSA 2nd and 4th stakes as well as a Logan Married Student stake. It's been super crazy and we've been really busy with the semester beggining and everyone coming back into town. It's going to be a really busy week for us with Ryleigh's baptism and a lot of appointments with members and their non-member friends!

Ryleigh is going to be baptised tomorrow! She is super excited and we are as well! She has been really fun to teach and talk to!

Today we went to a place called Angie's. We cleaned the kitchen sink! Basically the 5 of us ate a ton of ice cream. It tasted good, but it didn't feel good :) Pics below!

Week 17 Logan Utah

 Bonjour à tous!

This week was awesome!

We got to teach Ryleigh at the baptismal font in the Logan tabernacle. The Logan tabernacle is a really cool building, its pretty old and has a really cool chapel in it with a giant pipe organ!

Ryleigh is super excited to be baptized next week on Tuesday!

So this week there were a bunch of missionaries that were going to fly back to the Congo, unfortunately however one of the missionaries in the Congo got Covid-19, so the missionaries in Congo are quarantining and they canceled the flights of the missionaries who were about to fly back. I feel bad for one missionary who was 1 day from flying to Congo back in March when they canceled his flight when covid hit. This is now his second time unpacking his bags as he was about to fly there last week.

This week we have transfers, and I'll be getting two new companions! I'll still be on campus at USU but I'll be in a trio with two other missionaries!

One thing I have learned on my mission is that the Lord always has a plan for us. I have been able to do what he needs me to do and to say what he needs me to say. If we will let God prevail in our lives, he will direct our paths.

Week 16 Logan Utah

 Bonjour á vous tous!

Happy 2021! It's really crazy how fast 2020 has gone by. To me, it seems like last month that school went online and everything started to shut down. Needless to say, it's been an interesting year! But through all of the challenges we have had this year, we have had the opportunity to learn and grow. That is what Jesus Christ wants for us. He gives us trials for our benefit. This year I have been able to learn to be more thankful and to focus more on Christ!

This week was a good week! We are continuing to teach Ryleigh who is preparing to be baptized. We got to meet ad teach her in person for the first time yesterday. It was my first time teaching in person which is kinda crazy to think about.

I love every day here! I learn so much each and every day. Every day I am able to see many miracles and God's hand in my life.
