Week 26 - Riverdale, Utah

 Bonjour à tous!

This week was pretty crazy.

We found a family of 5 kids who are half siblings. None of them have been baptized but some of their parents are members. We started teaching all of them!

Another person we are teaching is Adrianna, she is in her 30s and she was baptized when she was 8 but never went to church. She has two kids. We taught her about the restoration and she was in tears at the end. Everything clicked for her! We will start teaching her whole family the rest of the lessons this week!

We did a lot of service this week. We helped an African American family move their grandma named Betty out of her home. The whole family was Southern Baptist. On the second day of helping them, we came over to find out that a family member had picked up Betty's medications and put them in the moving truck. After pulling out a couple of boxes to no avail. We decided to say a prayer with the family to help us find the box that they were in. After saying that prayer we were able to find the box soon after! The family knew their prayer had been answered.

On Saturday I was sitting in my apartment doing language study when all of the sudden I hear two giant crashes right outside. I looked out the window to see that a car smashed right through our brick mailbox and crashed into our neighbor's tree! The 60-year-old lady had a seizure while driving and she lost control of her car. She seemed alright. We called the police and got her an ambulance. Her car was totaled, and our mailbox is gone now.

Anyways this week I noticed how much the lord is in the details of our life. Our Heavenly Father knows each of us and is always directing our paths to help us return to him. We just have to be willing to let God prevail in our lives!

Au revoir!
