It's been another awesome and hot week here in Africa! Every day I am super busy. I get up at 5:30am and work out and then study french for around 2 hours before Elder Nsaka and I head out for the day at around 10 am.
We hop on a bus and head to our area to go teach! There are so many people who need to be taught that we are teaching at least 5 people a day. It's non-stop between all of the teaching and traveling!
I've met so many wonderful people here with some amazing stories!
Currently, Elder Nsaka and have about 10 people who will be baptized next month which is awesome. The people in Congo are so ready to learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
My French is improving. I still can't understand most people but every day I am able to pick up a little more of what they say.
We had a zone conference this week which was great! Président and Sœur Magré talked about how we can increase our faith to accomplish miracles!
Faith in Jesus Christ is so important these days. Our Prophet Russel M. Nelson taught,
"Faith in Jesus Christ is the greatest power available to us in this life"
So true! Every decision we make to follow Christ starts with faith. And from that faith, we receive so many blessings. The people of Congo Brazzaville are great examples of this. They give up so much for the gospel of Jesus Christ and keep him at the center of their lives because of their faith!
